Is the price displayed per boat or per person ?
The price you see is per boat per hour up to a maximum of 5 people,for each additional person there is a surcharge . Pickup options at specific points will change the price . During the reservation ,before confirming the reservation, you will be able to check the price for the specific number of passengers , drinks ,extras and the various options selected.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The captain has the right to cancel, postpone or discontinue any vessel service based on weather conditions and his professional judgment. Generally, if there is light rain, the boat has a retractable roof to keep you dry and heating on board to keep you warm and services proceed normally. However, in the event of heavy rain, thunderstorms or rough water caused by strong winds, the captain will use his own experience and knowledge of the performance of the boat and lake to determine whether the service can be performed safely or whether it should be cancelled. Decisions regarding cancellations are at the sole discretion of the captain. If you cancel due to lack of sun, the deposit will not be refunded. Refund Policy: If the service is cancelled due to bad weather from Lario water taxi, you will receive a full refund. Deferrals or postponements to a different date are subject to the availability of the boat and the agreement with the customer. This clause is only valid if started by Lario water taxi . These decisions are made based on the actual water conditions on the day of service. You will be notified by email or phone call, if at the last minute due to a sudden change in weather conditions. Lake Como's weather can change quickly due to the Alps.
What's included? Are there any additional costs?
The base rate includes a private local captain, fuel and fresh water on board and transaction fees. No surprise: all extras are chosen and approved by you first.
Where can you pick us up , city piers, hotels or villa piers?
We can take you anywhere on Lake Como as long as there is a public or private pier. For hotel or villa docks, the guest only needs to request permission from the property , for some pick-up points there is a surcharge because to organize the tour with a pickup different from the default one there are different travel times and organization to manage
Is there a bathroom on board the boat ?
No, there is no toilet on board. If you have booked a private boat cruise of 2 hours or more and anticipate that you or your travel companions will need a stop to go to the toilet, please notify the captain already at the beginning of the tour so that he can plan in advance possible mooring places to get off the boat and find a bath on land (such as a cafe in the city or a public toilet present in some municipalities ). there is a part of the lake on longer cruises where for a while there is no possibility of stopping or stopping so it is important to notify and plan as soon as possible .
